Welcome to the Florida International University Undergraduate Journal for Global Business and Community!
Florida International University’s undergraduate Journal for Global Business and Community (JGBC) is a multidisciplinary e-journal dedicated to serving both those participating in and affected by the emerging global economy. It offers undergraduate students a forum for exploring the relationships between this emerging global economy and the political, social, cultural, economic, legal, technogical, ethical, and moral issues derived from that emergence. In short, it is dedicated to examining global economic development and related issues in the context of social justice, community, and human development.
JGBC is further dedicated to starting this conversation among tomorrow's business and community leaders. As such, it will limit the core of its articles and other works to those produced by people while they are undergraduate students. All submissions are subject peer and faculty review. All submissions will be considered in the context of the JGBC's core mission, which is: to encourage an increased level of discourse among tomorrow's business and community leaders so they may be better able than preceeding generations to fairly and efficiently advance social, political, and economic justice.
